At 1 Lane, I celebrate the uniqueness of every athlete's journey. The mission is to guide athletes in discovering and excelling in their own lane, using the principles of sport psychology and insights from the sports business world. With a solid foundation in applied and educational experiences, I am dedicated to providing tailored mental performance consulting that empowers athletes to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve their highest potential.

I am passionate about helping athletes find their focus, enhance their confidence, and navigate the complexities of their sport with a clear and personalized approach.   • What is sport and performance psychology?
    Sport and performance psychology is a field that focuses on understanding and enhancing the mental aspects of athletic performance and other high-pressure endeavors. It involves applying psychological principles to help athletes, performers, and even business professionals optimize their mental state, improve their focus, and manage stress to achieve peak performance
  • What is a mental performance consultant?
    A mental performance consultant is a professional who specializes in helping individuals improve their mental skills to enhance performance in sports, business, the arts, and other high-pressure environments. They are experts in the psychological aspects of performance and work with clients to develop the mental tools and strategies necessary for achieving peak performance.
  • What's the difference between a mental performance consultant and psychologist/therapist?
    Mental performance consultants focus more on performance enhancement and mental skills development, whereas psychologists/therapists focus on diagnosing or treating mental health disorders. Mental performance consultants are not clinically trained however, if you or your athlete needs further assistance beyond mental performance, we will refer the athlete to mental health services.

  • How long does a session last?
    Typically sessions run from 50 mins to an hour.
  • Do you work with clients virtually or in-person?
    Both! Depending on where you are located, we can discuss in-person and virtual options.
  • As a client, will the information shared in the session remain confidential?
    Yes, all information shared during the sessions will be kept confidential except in the following circumstances: if the consultant is required by law to disclose information, if the consultant believes that you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you give the consultant written permission to share information.
